Welcome to the Nellis Thrift Shop!
Donated items are processed for sale and the proceeds allow the NASC to give back to our community through donations to military and local charitable programs as well as distributing thousands of dollars in scholarships to military dependents seeking a higher education (undergraduate, graduate or vocational certification or license). Thrift Store Hours of Operation:
Monday: Volunteer processing day, hours vary. Store is closed.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
1st Saturday of the month: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m
In the current economy, our military community and local charities need our help more than ever. In order for the Nellis Thrift Shop to continue doing good deeds, we require a staff of friendly, personable volunteers. The time you give is worth more than gold! Be a volunteer, we would love to have you!
Volunteers are needed to help sort and process donations, tag items, place them on the sales floor, create store displays, greet the customers, help customers at the jewelry counter and bag purchases. The benefits of volunteering include making new friends, resume action items, getting first pick of sales items and helping the Nellis community!
Donations are greatly appreciated! We accept home goods, furniture, holiday items, clothing (all ages) and shoes. Tax receipts are available upon request during business hours. After hours donations may be left on the far right side of the loading dock, located in the rear of the building. We have two open and two closed bins labeled "Thrift Shop".
